State of the nation
Dear supporters and friends, what can I say? Things are not looking too good...
In an attempt to get this show on the road I spent a lot of time writing comments to blogs, registering this blog to various blog lists and generaly trying to get as much attention as possible.
I even launched a limited time minimum offer of $5 (instead of $25), a real bargain if you ask me, when you consider that it will be there for 5 years.
I was told by several people who know marketing that my idea for this site it really cool but it seems that in the shadow of Alex Tew, everyone is trying to get money for putting a link on a site, so getting attention to my idea is harder than ever, original as it may be...

Another one sold
After thinking about it long and hard, I decided to lower the minimum price people need to pay from $50 to $25...
I know I know... I'm lowering the standard...
But on the other hand:
It Worked!
I got another buyer for a place on my Hill!
Well, you can't argue with success.
Hopefully others will follow.

First one sold
I don't know if it really counts:
A good friend of mine - which happens to also help me by hosting this site - bought the first plot on my hill lately...
Probably because he got tired of seeing me mope around and looking at him with sad eyes...
At least no one is blocking his view from the top of the Hill.
I've been sending e-mails like crazy and I think part of the companies that usually send spam are surprised to be getting some spam for the first time in their lives.
Hopefully the word will go out and people will put a little cash into some nice real-estate on my Hill soon.
Well, logging off now - need to get some sleep.

Here we go
Well, I couldn't stand it any longer!
If you've seen Alex's site: "The Million Dollar Homepage", and don't know anything about the internet, then you're probably going:
"Those Internet nerds are doing it again: making money out of nothing".
If you know anything about the Internet and are a greedy bastard like me you're going:
"WOA! I gotta get me one of those!!"
I've seen some lame copycat efforts to duplicate Alex's site, and some of them might even make some money, but I decided to try and be original.
Enter: "King of the Hill"
I figure: let's spice things up and see who will be on top.
So here I go with my little venture... hope it works half as well as Alex's.
At least I'll have fun tearing out what little hair I have left...
